John is a member of your organization, and he’s been asked to facilitate the next Requirements Definition meeting for the New AP system that corporate wants. Some training is provided at your organization. John has had this training, and he has also attended several courses in communication and meeting skills that are also offered. However, John is still struggling. John knows he needs to improve his ability to facilitate this critically important meeting but there’s no time for "formal’ training. So, what could e-coach do to help John in this situation?

e-coach could provide direct access to "Knowledge Central", a convenient link to various sources of information and insights. John could use Knowledge Central to lead him through a process for diagnosing his current level of competence and then suggest concrete strategies for improving his effectiveness in his on-the-job situation. Knowledge Central could also provide a way for him to reassess his skills as he improves and to learn tips and techniques that will help him to maintain and continue to strengthen desired behaviors. In addition, Knowledge Central could give him a list of timely articles or books that might be helpful, or it could direct him to an online course on team concepts.
